The Why

Harbor Care was born at the infusion chair.

For more than a decade, I have specialized in outpatient hematology and oncology infusion nursing — administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, hydration, bisphosphonates, growth factors, and the many supportive therapies required to endure cancer treatment.

Over the past five years, I have watched the patient population grow exponentially, outpacing the availability of experienced oncologic specialists. As census rises, care teams are stretched thin. Appointment times shrink. Continuity suffers. Education becomes compressed. Patients and families are left navigating one of life’s most terrifying diagnoses with fragmented guidance and limited time.

A gap has formed in the cancer journey — from diagnosis through survivorship.

Harbor Care exists to close that gap.

My role is not to replace your oncologist, but to support you, your loved ones, and even your providers. An educated patient with access to experienced clinical advocacy regains autonomy in a system that often feels overwhelming.

I offer what the system cannot:
Unrushed time.
Deep oncologic expertise.
Continuity.
Unrestricted support.

The spirit of nursing is rooted in generosity. Advocacy requires courage. Harbor Care is the union of both — a steady, experienced presence to help you understand your options, prepare for difficult conversations, and move through treatment with clarity and strength.

You will not navigate this alone.
